Buyuden

Buyuden is a series of independent Dragon System events. It is produced by Masaaki Mochizuki with the blessing of Dragon Gate, allowing him to book their talent as well as wrestlers from other promotions. Mochizuki was inspired to develop Buyuden after "Hollywood" Stalker Ichikawa produced his first Stalker Bom ba Ye, which was a successful mix of Dragon Gate and outside talent participating on the same show. Matches from the shows have aired on episodes of Dragon Gate Infinity.

Buyuden I

Date: January 25, 2007
Venue: Korakuen Hall - Tokyo, Japan

The first official match featured some comedy as Daichi Kakimoto and Naruki Doi looked very similar, resulting in a lot of confusion for Gamma. At one point, he gave Doi Sweet Angel's Kiss before realizing it was Doi. After the match, Kakimoto challenged Doi to a singles match.

The wrestling group called Omega assaulted Genki Horiguchi in the second match. Their appearance was not well received and was considered a failure. The match further illustrated the dissention between Genki and Ryo Saito.

The Danshoku Dino vs. Akira Tozawa match was given a warning label, but was further the most talked about match from the show in a positive manner as both were considered the MVPs. Tozawa was stripped of his pants at one point, revealing a red loincloth. Dino gave him a passionate kiss after the match and both came out at the end of the show wearing only towels.

The 57th episode of Dragon Gate Infinity was dedicated to the show, airing all seven main card matches in clipped form.
